Backyard Remodeling in Morgan’s Point Resort, TX
Updating an existing backyard — new beds, a bigger patio, better edges, working irrigation — without tearing out what is already good. We work across Morgan’s Point Resort — Original Morgan’s Point sections, Rancho Del Lago, Sobrante Ridge and the surrounding area.
SCOPE
What this service covers.
Only the work we actually do — no padded list. If you are not sure whether your job fits, send a photo and we will tell you straight.
A walk-through of what is there
Sergio looks at the patio, beds, lawn, and sprinklers with you and sorts what stays from what goes.
Patio extensions and new concrete
Adding on to an existing slab instead of breaking it out, sloped so water leaves the house.
Beds, edges, and plantings redone
Beds reshaped, curbing poured, and tired plantings swapped for species that handle a Bell County summer.
Irrigation brought up to date
Dead zones fixed and heads moved to match the new layout.

Why people call about this.
The yard has worn out, not failed
Good bones, tired finishes. That is a remodel, not a rebuild.
The patio is too small for how you use it
An extension is usually the biggest single improvement in a remodel.
The clay has moved things around
Blackland clay shrinks in drought and swells in rain, so edges heave and beds sink over time. A remodel resets them.
MORGAN’S POINT RESORT, TX
Backyard Remodeling in Morgan’s Point Resort: what’s different here.
Morgan’s Point Resort is a small lake city of about 4,600 people (2020 census) on the eastern shore of Belton Lake, bordered by Temple to the south. It was developed on land owned by the James E. Morgan family and incorporated in 1970, and today it mixes lakefront, lake-access, and inland lots on wooded streets. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers owns the land around Belton Lake out to marked boundary lines and private docks are not allowed, so work stays on the private side of the line; the city issues minor project permits for things like fences, and some neighborhoods have their own HOA rules.
Outdoor Living in Morgan’s Point Resort
Outdoor kitchens and seating on lakefront and lake-view lots are usually oriented toward Belton Lake and kept on the private side of the Corps boundary.
The ground
The city sits on wooded ground with limestone bluffs above the lake, so many lots are sloped and rocky, and some carry federal flowage easements near the shoreline.
Homes and lots
Older homes in the original Morgan’s Point sections, newer HOA neighborhoods such as Rancho Del Lago, Sobrante Ridge, Holly Oaks Landing, and Cliffs at Lake Belton, and a mix of lakefront and off-water lots, with no citywide HOA.
