Pool Decks in Morgan’s Point Resort, TX
Concrete, stamped, and paver pool decks and coping — poured on prepared ground and sloped so water leaves the pool edge. We work across Morgan’s Point Resort — Original Morgan’s Point sections, Rancho Del Lago, Sobrante Ridge and the surrounding area.
SCOPE
What this service covers.
Only the work we actually do — no padded list. If you are not sure whether your job fits, send a photo and we will tell you straight.
New pool decking
Concrete decking around new or existing pools, formed and sloped away from the water.
Stamped and textured finishes
Stamped concrete or a textured cool-deck finish that stays grippy and cooler barefoot.
Paver and stone decks
Pavers or stone set on a compacted base, easy to lift and relevel if the ground moves.
Deck extensions
More room for chairs and a table, tied into the existing deck — same approach as our patio extensions.

Why people call about this.
The deck is cracked or heaving
Blackland clay moves with the seasons. Old decks without a good base crack and lift.
Water runs toward the pool
A deck sloped the wrong way washes dirt and debris into the water every storm.
There is nowhere to sit
A narrow strip of concrete is not a pool area. An extension makes it usable.
MORGAN’S POINT RESORT, TX
Pool Decks in Morgan’s Point Resort: what’s different here.
Morgan’s Point Resort is a small lake city of about 4,600 people (2020 census) on the eastern shore of Belton Lake, bordered by Temple to the south. It was developed on land owned by the James E. Morgan family and incorporated in 1970, and today it mixes lakefront, lake-access, and inland lots on wooded streets. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers owns the land around Belton Lake out to marked boundary lines and private docks are not allowed, so work stays on the private side of the line; the city issues minor project permits for things like fences, and some neighborhoods have their own HOA rules.
Pools & Spas in Morgan’s Point Resort
With no private docks allowed on Belton Lake, a pool is often how lake-lot owners get water access at home, and digs frequently hit limestone.
The ground
The city sits on wooded ground with limestone bluffs above the lake, so many lots are sloped and rocky, and some carry federal flowage easements near the shoreline.
Homes and lots
Older homes in the original Morgan’s Point sections, newer HOA neighborhoods such as Rancho Del Lago, Sobrante Ridge, Holly Oaks Landing, and Cliffs at Lake Belton, and a mix of lakefront and off-water lots, with no citywide HOA.
